In this work, I played with the bold contrast of passionate red and deep black to create a dynamic composition that shimmers with energy and mystery. The swirls and interlacing lines represent the meanderings of our thoughts and emotions, capturing an essence that is both pop art and naive. With my eyes closed and pencil in hand, I intuitively trace the lines of the blank paper, connecting with my emotions. My eyes open, and I discover shapes, curves... a face. I then multiply the curves and features around this face.
Applying the colors with paint markers in successive layers gives the artwork a glossy, not smooth, texture.

Her artistic journey began with oil pastels and landscape painting. She then explored acrylics and naturally gravitated towards abstract art. To enhance relief and texture, she incorporates varnish, sand, and plaster into her paintings. Her technique has evolved over time towards intuitive art. Her painterly gesture, almost ritualistic, traces curves and lines that spontaneously give rise to women's faces and concentric forms. Her canvases are adorned with red, black, and white, but also, in some cases, green and purple, capturing fleeting portraits of women. This combination allows her to explore striking contrasts and create works that are both simple and profoundly expressive. Her works are unexpected encounters, inner dialogues shared with the viewer.
