About this artwork
With my eyes closed and pencil in hand, I intuitively trace the blank page with my hand, connecting with my emotions. My eyes open, and I discover shapes, curves... a face. I then multiply the curves and lines around this face, creating interlacing patterns.
In this artwork, I play with the bold contrast of red, black, and white to capture a mysterious face enveloped in undulating, almost hypnotic patterns. This interplay of colors and abstract… forms evokes a dynamic energy, underscoring strong emotions and an undeniable presence. Inspired by pop art and the naive style, I seek to provoke a visual interaction that is both intriguing and energetically powerful, ideal for revitalizing any space. The colors are applied with paint markers in three successive layers, giving the artwork a glossy, non-smooth texture.

Her artistic journey began with oil pastels and landscape painting. She then explored acrylics and naturally gravitated towards abstract art. To enhance relief and texture, she incorporates varnish, sand, and plaster into her paintings. Her technique has evolved over time towards intuitive art. Her painterly gesture, almost ritualistic, traces curves and lines that spontaneously give rise to women's faces and concentric forms.
