About this artwork
This photo was taken in the north of France, in the Chemin des Dames region, the site of the war from 1914 to 1918.
But beyond the story, the graphic design of the tree seemed obvious to me.
I used to drive along the same road every week. That day, the light made the mistletoe balls and branches stand out, I stopped and took the picture.

Bertrand Namur
France
Bertrand Namur, visual artist and architect, uses painting and photography to express his talent. His abstract painting is influenced by American art from the 50s to 70s and his style is similar to Action Painting. In his photography, he explores water and trees, projecting a dreamlike and poetic vision of nature. Encouraging better observation and plunging the viewer into a poetic universe that could be familiar to him, this is what his works aspire to provoke.
