About this artwork
Each image in this triptych measures 40 x 120 cm. It is intended as a complete work, but can also be viewed individually. What I found exciting about this project was that the overall structure could be freely rearranged and reassembled in countless ways.
Brigitte Siehl
Germany
Brigitte Siehl, a religious education teacher and pastoral psychologist, has worked as a painter since her retirement. She embraces modern and abstract styles, using techniques such as oil and acrylic on canvas, often enriched with textures of marble dust, sand, and cement. Her works are inspired by travel and cultures; she favors warm earth tones and contrasts them with subdued shades of gray. Siehl's artwork, whether realistic or abstract, radiates curiosity and a desire to discover and explore mysteries.
