About this artwork
This piece is unmounted. Oil on raw canvas. Like most of my paintings this piece was created using a stream of consciousness approach, meaning I had no preconceived notion of the outcome before beginning the process. I allow the initial shapes created by random oil bar markings to dictate the composition and flow. I leave the interpretation of the finished painting entirely up to the viewer.
