About this artwork
I was recuperating from a very serious accident in the Western Sahara and I absolutely needed to be in the ice. Going on a very small ship to the archipelago of Svalbard near the north pole where the area was absolute beauty, quiet and pure. The ship travelled along side one of the biggest glaciers in the world for 22 hours. All those hours of turquoise with the melt water pouring off was so incredibly healing for my concussed brain. came from the memory of those energies. I have added clear quartz and pyrite. The quartz is a major magnifier of energy and a bringer of light bringing heightened awareness. It stimulates all chakras. Pyrite, a protector stone, shields from negative energy on physical, etheric, emotional levels. It enhances vitality and greatly helps memory. This powerful piece mirrors the healing energetics to the viewers with its calming blues and whites.
