About this artwork
This is a portrait of a woman surrounded by abstract white flowers. Created using mixed media in acrylic grisaille, with a more imaginative second layer, the combination of techniques allowed me to create interesting textures, while the neutral and delicate tones convey an aura of profound calm. I tend to make the eyes different from one another in my "free" portraits; there's no explanation for this, it's simply something I like in my work. I hope…
