The artist, in painting this painting, above all wanted to pay homage to the Burgundy countryside… where she spent many summers. The greens reveal all their brilliance sprinkled here and there with small touches of color which bring out the contrasts of the painting.
A way to escape to the countryside, away from the city and its concrete walls, a way to breathe and make you want to go out!

Catherine Sénéchal comes from a family of painters and musicians and is taking over with panache.
