About this artwork

Het schilderij heeft een gezichtspunt dat "meekijkt" naar de drie essentiële verlengende figuren, wat een extra laag van betekenis toevoegt aan de abstracte compositie.
Ik zie pas na het schilderen de betekenis, een element en verbonden voel met de figuren die mogelijk de aandacht trekken.
De kleuren roepen herinneringen aan de Indiase cultuur, die rijk is aan levendige en contrasterende tinten.
De combinatie van groen, roze, oranje en zwart… resoneren met de esthetiek van Indiase kunst en textiel, waar kleuren en patronen een belangrijke rol spelen in de visuele expressie.
Het schilderij heeft de kracht om verschillende gevoelens en herinneringen naar boven te brengen.

Het is verrijkend hoe de toeschouwer er naar kijkt en hoe ze het schilderij ervaren.
