About this artwork
Many people know the feeling of inner emptiness, the feeling of not being able to meet the demands of the outside world and of one's own inner self. This ultimately leads to decay.
In this artwork I use pastels to further illustrate the disintegrating structure through the material texture. The soft, flowing lines combined with the intense splashes of color capture the complexity of human emotions. They symbolize the great difference between the… slightly dreamy external appearance and the deep inner turmoil and longing of a person, with each brushstroke serving to reveal their thoughts and unfathomable feelings.
It is a work of art that both provokes thought and creates a strong emotional presence in any room in which it is hung.
Since this is an unfixed pastel painting, the picture should be provided with a passepartout and a glass frame.
