About this artwork
Another image from my monochrome series and a continuation of "Snowy Trees". However, my photographic art is more than simply documenting a snapshot; it transforms my images into emotions and feelings, into a language that speaks through pictures.
In this picture, I captured the feeling of a moment. The path led further into the forest and into the thicket. At some point, it was impossible to go any further, and I felt like the only person for miles… around. The atmosphere in the impenetrable, snow-covered chaos was somewhat oppressive. That's when I tried to capture that feeling in a photograph.
I then digitally edited the image and printed it on AluDibond. The texture of this medium further enhances the effect I wanted.
The picture is limited edition and comes hand-signed with a metal hanging device.
