About this artwork
With "Gold" I express my artistic vision: a contemporary alchemy that transforms photographic error into aesthetic beauty. Part of my "Collection 22"—a cycle of twenty-two works—this piece was born from the recovery of an imperfect shot (reported on the certificate of authenticity), where light and digital glare sublimate into a liquid surface resembling molten gold.
With this work, I wanted to bring out cobalt and emerald hues within a golden texture,… evoking classical mosaics fused with modern pixels. The work is an invitation to Siddharta Gautama's philosophy: the mind transforms perception from ordinary reflection to extraordinary visual experience.
I present the work on a rigid Dibond aluminum support with a black box frame, which gives depth to the "floating" panel. In keeping with sustainable production, I only produce the piece upon purchase. Printing and assembly take approximately 3-4 business days before shipping.
