About this artwork
In 'PINK CASTLE' I wanted to explore the aesthetic potential of what is usually discarded. It all began with a close-up detail of a lipstick: a common, almost banal object, which in my creative process was transfigured into a dreamlike architecture. Through the play of symmetries, I transformed the fluid and vibrant material of the cosmetic into a metaphysical castle in bright hues, where pink dominates the scene, evoking almost regal reflections.…
My art lives within this boundary: elevating waste and micro-photography to a new pictorial dimension, inviting the viewer to discover the majesty hidden in the small fragments of our everyday lives. I participated in Expo Metro Milano 2024. In keeping with sustainable production, I only make the piece at the time of purchase. Printing and assembly take approximately 3-4 business days before shipping.
