About this artwork
"Click on the TNT Icon" reflects on the explosive power of culture and the ability of human thought to overcome symbolic barriers. At the center of the composition, the statuesque figure of Leonardo da Vinci becomes a metaphor for the brain as a trigger: a symbolic gesture—the "Boom" on the thought icon—activates an explosion that cracks a large black wall, an emblem of limitation, separation, and control.
From this fracture emerge two possible… crossings: a ladder of books, representing the slow and stratified path of knowledge, and an open gap in the wall, a radical passage that also passes through the image of the dove of peace.
Beyond the wall, a new perspective opens up on Renaissance Florence and Filippo Brunelleschi's dome, a reminder of the birth of perspective vision and a renewed possibility of looking at the world.
Culture, in this vision, is not just memory of the past but a force capable of detonating new perspectives.
