About this artwork
‘Tapestry of Light’ I painted this beautiful painting in July of 2025, during Perth’s, in Western Australia’s, winter. This place, it’s dust, it’s limestone, the shifting winter soil dominates its area. Vigorous marks, rise like seeds, breaking through dirt. Its winter skies hang heavy, light pierces its wet veil, as the earth beneath holds renewal. It’s a painting that evokes the feeling of freshness, cleanliness and fullness. I just love this painting.
