2020 in der Sommerpause von der ersten Covid 19 Pandemie begann ich verspätet mit meiner Weiterbildung im Bereich Tanz/Performance. es war eine Freude endlich anfangen zu können und so performte ich im Nachbardorf. Zuvor hatte ich mich in meiner Arbeit mit der Zeit um 19oo im Rahmen eines deutsch-französischen Kunstprojektes "Une rose en décember" gewidmet. Ich trug ein weißes Kleid, einen Sonnenschirm und die Atmosphäre erinnerte an die berühmten…

Daniela Melzig, an interdisciplinary German artist trained in Maastricht, Eupen, and Remscheid, creates transparent objects, performances, and installations. Her approach is characterized by the fusion of traditional glassmaking techniques and diverse media, including printmaking, painting, performance, film, and photography. This results in spaces of transparency and lightness, reminiscent of early photographic plates on glass, reflecting space and time in color and form. Her works embody transience and evoke memories, offering a space for the expression of timeless thoughts in snapshots of fleeting moments.
