About this artwork
"The World in Your Hands" is an invitation. To look, to feel, to choose. It's my way of saying that the planet doesn't belong to us—it's been entrusted to us. And what's entrusted to us must be respected.
I painted Mondo at a time when I felt the need to reconnect with what is essential: the Earth, life, and our responsibility toward our surroundings. This painting was born from a profound reflection on our role as human beings: not masters, but… custodians.
The central figure, with her gentle gaze and hands embracing the planet, represents all humanity: anyone can recognize themselves in those eyes. The green of the headdress and leaves evokes hope, while the gold background pays homage to the sacred value of the Earth: too often we forget how precious, how fragile it is.
Daniela Prezioso Einwaller is a painter with a solid international artistic background, enriched by numerous exhibitions and awards. Her technique blends rigor and intuition, drawing on Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, Byzantine, and Gothic influences, creating a personal, decorative, and symbolic style. In her works, time, nature, and spirituality become visual metaphors that invite profound reflection, conveying emotions of wonder, introspection, and a connection between the soul and the world.
