IV "The Red Guardian"
From the series “Garden of Watching Eyes”
In this work, I introduce a more direct and confrontational gaze. Unlike the quieter pieces in the series, this eye does not hide — it reveals itself, surrounded by an intense red form that feels both protective and exposed.
I see this figure as a guardian within the landscape — a presence that watches over the environment while remaining deeply rooted in it. The surrounding moss… and organic elements create a contrast between softness and tension, as if something alive is both protecting and observing at the same time.
Through this piece, I explore the idea of visibility — what it means to be seen, and what it means to watch. The gaze here is no longer passive; it is aware, alert, and impossible to ignore.
