VI "Buried Observer"
In this piece, I explore the feeling of being deeply embedded within the environment — not emerging, but almost absorbed by it. The eye appears partially buried, surrounded by dense layers of moss and dark soil, as if it has been there for a long time.
I was interested in creating a sense of weight and stillness. The gaze feels present, but restrained — quietly observing from beneath the surface. It is not trying to be seen,… yet it cannot fully disappear.
This work reflects a more introspective state, where perception exists in silence, hidden within the depths of the landscape.
