VIII "The Forgotten Watcher"
From the series “Garden of Watching Eyes”
In this work, I explore the idea of something that has been left behind, yet continues to exist. The eye appears partially uncovered, as if it has been buried in the landscape for a long time and is only now beginning to resurface.
I was drawn to the feeling of memory embedded in the earth — traces of presence that remain even when they are no longer seen. The surrounding textures… feel aged and layered, as if the landscape has slowly absorbed what once belonged to the surface.
This piece reflects a quiet persistence. Even when forgotten, the gaze remains — patient, enduring, and still aware.
