The work depicts a sunny day in the garden: it features many symbols and metaphors through which the artist narrates his stories. We have the man playing table football, a man freed from the movement he would be forced to make if he had remained within the game; we also have the yellow, the light; and at the man's feet we see an antique iron object embodying the toil of labor but also the joy of living nature. I'm Dario Longo. I'm afraid of colors, but when I use them, I use fluorescent ones. I can't keep my studio tidy and dream of an empty room. I'd fill a space with objects, but not with words. My art consists of a large shelf of objects. I've never thought of giving them a new life; I've always thought of living with them, of bringing them home and looking at them: you can find beauty in the small details of things that have never been art. My story begins, in fact, when a long time ago I found a foosball player. That's my number one object. Since then, I've found many other objects in life.
