About this artwork
I let the materials lead in this piece - ink bleeding freely while acrylic held its ground, creating this explosive collision of warm oranges and deep crimsons. The central burst radiates outward like captured energy, with scattered marks and droplets tracing the movement of my hand across the surface.
What draws me to this work is the tension between control and surrender. You can see where I guided the composition and where the materials took over,… bleeding and flowing according to their own logic. The interplay between the dense, saturated areas and the quieter spaces creates a visual rhythm that feels almost musical.
This represents my fascination with pushing traditional materials beyond their comfort zones - discovering what happens when intention meets accident, when the process itself becomes part of the final statement.
