The eye is like a finger print, it uniquely identifies us and yet it's unclear who the model is, where they come from, what religion they follow, sometimes even what sex they are.
There is a dichotomy in the paintings between the uniqueness of each person and the universal beauty that each eye carries. The artist acknowledges that on the surface we are different. Underneath on a genetic level we are almost identical.
