David Tomlin is an exciting Canadian painter who has exhibited his work nationally, including in the US, Canada and France. Self-taught and creating from a signature Canadian perspective, he composes surreal, vibrant paintings that exalt natural light and colour. He is influenced by Impressionism, and more profoundly by Canadian First Nations artists in their representations of humanity's relationship to the natural world.
