About this artwork
Buffalo Skies is inspired by the legend of the Lakota and other indigenous peoples. A hunter was tracking a buffalo, and when he got to the summit of a mountain, the track continued, right up into the skies. The buffalo kept climbing and attained his goal of joining the stars.
To me, the best advice I have ever received is to never give up on the things you feel called to do. This art journey will weed you out, if you are not a passionate creator.… I am still climbing my mountain, and the view from here is breathtaking.
