Is it just me or do you sometimes wonder about how beverages are described in tastings? When I read that a wine has citrus notes, I suddenly crave a glass of oranges, and then I take a sip. It could be tasty, but it never measures up to that juicy orange I'd just been thinking about!
In the end, my most rewarding indulgences are the things that our creator serves up for us. Give me a ripe orange any day, over that libation with citrus notes.
