About this artwork
This young man is named Maverick. He was a model at a photo shoot I went to at American Frontier Production in Easton, KS. He dutifully modeled and did such a good job, but in between shoots he was so engrossed in catching the frogs all around the pond. He just lit up each time he caught one. It was obvious this game was a true joy for him.
I could hear the frogs splashing, but darned if I could even see them. Someone said it was good the frogs… were jumping. That meant there were no snakes in the area. All I know is I was completely mesmerized watching Maverick hunt the little frogs. I think he was seriously more stealthy than any snake would have been!
Isn't that how it works? When we are passionate about what we are doing, we are incredible.
