About this artwork
On assignment for Malcolm Forbes in 1980, we arrived at the Ritz in Paris after midnight, a paarty of 25 people that he had flown over on the Concorde - a fabulous 3 hour flight from NYC. The snotty reception personnel told us our rooms weren't ready! This was the youngest member of our party, already a great lady and perfectly composed even in the middle of the night on the other side of the ocean from home. This is my only remaining color print…
of this image, and should be protected from sunlight as Ektacolor ("c-print") prints are not durable, although this has lasted almost fifty years protected from sunlight. This was entered into the Singulart website with "use information from another artwork" as that is the only way to retain listing features, but this one switched out from Photography so some of the listing is inacurate as the photography process selections were no longer available when I changed the title and description. Sorry.

Bella! Originator and Director of the Community Workshop Program at the International Center of Photography, NYC, taught black-and-white and Cibachrome photography there, 1975 - 1979.
