In creating this sculpture, I sought to encapsulate a moment of transcendence, where form and emptiness intertwine intimately. The materials, a blend of resin, bronze, stone, and marble powder, were chosen to enhance the sculpture's tactile qualities, while echoing the resilience and permanence of natural forces. This piece, freestanding and formed in the ethos of ready-made art, invites viewers to explore the interplay of light and shadow, capturing… a perpetual dance of resilience and grace. It's designed to bring an element of awe and contemplative beauty to any space it inhabits.
« Life is an unbroken flow of joy that I attempt to express through my art. »
Divyendu Anand is a sculptor based in India whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. He believes that knowingly and unknowingly, humans seek the infinite and transcendental. The quest to "know unknown forms" is the basis for Anand's works. For him, the medium of creation must be as malleable as possible to give form to his creativity. The material is immaterial, as long as it evokes a sense of freedom and bliss.
