About this artwork
The work presents itself as an explosion of colors and textures, created with a gestural and material technique. I used dense, vigorous brushstrokes, also using palette knives, to create a rich, layered surface. The predominant colors are green, blue, red, and touches of yellow and white, distributed in a seemingly chaotic manner yet capable of generating a strong visual impact. abstract jungle, an imaginary forest, or an interior landscape. The work conveys energy, intensity, and a certain primitive vitality. Some might see chaos and conflict in it, others might see wilderness or even rebirth. It recalls aspects of Abstract Expressionism.
