Two faces, two states of mind, one being suspended in a labyrinth of drapes.
One screams without restraint, the other rests peacefully.
Through them, this painting explores the invisible parts of the being - these interior chambers where fear, dreams, anger, silence, and sometimes, appeasement coexist.
The swirling fabrics envelop and hold, like thoughts that curl around themselves, endlessly.
They conceal as much as they reveal, weaving a cocoon… of contradictions where the woman, fragmented but whole, searches for and contains herself.
Here, intimacy becomes a mental landscape.
The cry does not erase the calm; the calm does not erase the storm.
Everything lives at the same time, in separate but adjoining rooms.
The Inner Rooms is an invitation to listen to what is happening within oneself, where no one is looking, where voices are born.
