In this painting, I pay homage to the silent transmission between women — a gesture that crosses generations without saying a word.
The mentor, the central figure, bears the marks of her labor: a stained apron, a golden papier-mâché crown on her head—fragile, paltry, but dignified.
She extends her hand not to impose, but to show, to guide. Behind her, a woman, naked on the canvas, reproduces this same gesture.
Art is constructed this way: through… echo, gaze, and trust. This scene speaks of heritage, embodied knowledge, and humble power. To create is also to transmit.
