About this artwork
"One More Look" was born out of the feeling that nothing is ever fully seen in a single moment. I wanted to capture that experience of walking past something—an object, a memory, a person—and then feeling an urge to turn back, to look again, because you sense there is more beneath the surface.
The spiral at the center became a symbol of that pull. As I worked, I let the colors circle and overlap like recurring thoughts, returning in different shades… and intensities. The curved shapes represent layers of perception: what we notice first, what we overlook, and what finally reveals itself when we slow down and give our attention fully.
This piece is about curiosity and persistence in seeing. It asks the viewer not to rush past, but to give themselves permission to take “one more look” at whatever they’re drawn to—whether it’s art, another person, or their own inner world.

Dragan Marjančević, a self-taught painter influenced by his father's naive art, works primarily with paint to explore transformation and perception.
