About this artwork
In this painting, I move away from reality to explore a more symbolic, almost dreamlike space. Inspired by the idea of passage and elevation, I construct a composition where the earth seems to float, fragmented, above a vibrant void.
The central path guides the gaze towards a luminous city, like a distant or inner destination. The pictorial material remains free and expressive, with strong contrasts between the cool tones of the sky and the warm… colors of the earth, accentuating this tension between fall and ascension.
Through this work, I seek to evoke a journey, a quest. A movement between what anchors us and what attracts us elsewhere, where each step becomes a crossing between balance and vertigo.
