About this artwork
Perhaps the most successful work of 2021.
A photograph that is both dark overall but bright in the center with the sun warming this dark dance of the trees in winter.
I have been working for over 9 years on a complex photographic technique that I have fully developed. The final rendering is very pictorial. Each shot is made in a single long take and without any editing software: the composition is done directly in situ. Here, no double exposure… or triple exposure, everything is done blindly for a unique composition.
• Photograph taken in a single long shot and without any editing.
• This copy 2 / 3 is sold
• There is one last copy available (number 3/3)
• Art print under plexiglass
• American box type frame in matte black metal
Edouard Mazaré is a French photographer. He has been working for over 10 years on a pictorial approach to photography, where he assembles in real time the elements at his disposal to extract the graphic essence in a final image. Each of his photographs is therefore made in a single long shot and without any editing software via a technique that he has entirely developed. In this world where the image is omnipresent every second and on every network, Edouard enjoys slowing down time, feeling and obtaining rare, constructed and graphic images. Edouard works blindly, which makes the technique complex - but which allows a crucial advantage: Edouard will be able to control every detail of his composition during these long exposures (between 1 and 12 minutes), and offer a unique rendering. This approach has allowed Edouard to work on major projects for big names (LVMH, Bouygues, Paprec) and to win a prize at the Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters.
