About this artwork
This fear of our emotional complexity grows and over time becomes our shadow. It is a hidden part of us that affects our choices more than we are aware of. Much effort is invested in suppressing this part and hiding it from ourselves and from others. This is the dark side we have built. The parts we are ashamed of and afraid to show.
Our shadow can express itself as a weakness or as a strength. Developing self-awareness and completion gives us an… opportunity to express strength. The path to our light passes through darkness. Whether we like it or not, the dark side we have built is very active even if it is hidden and not revealed to the outside. And we know he's there. He is constantly seeking recognition. Embrace him and connect with him.

Einat Lev Ari is an experienced artist based in Israel whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Art Reveal Magazine, The Flux Review Art, Coffee Magazine, etc. Won many art awards such as the Professional & Established Artist category award from the Society of Visual Artists in London, Certificate of artistic merit awarded by the museum Luxembourg. Ari cites her background as a psychologist as being inextricably linked to her artistic practice. Today she studies in an art school and paints in acrylic and oil, engages in sculpture and installations.
