The dark silhouettes of butterflies appear both as captives and rulers of this world of shadows and reflections. Their forms sometimes dissolve into the… background, then suddenly stand out against it, playing with the viewer's perception. The soft, cool tones of the watercolor washes convey the breath of the wind, the ephemerality of flight.
As in life, opposites collide here: lightness and stillness, chaos and order, darkness and brightness. Yet in this clash, harmony emerges—reminding the faintest shadows leave their mark.
