About this artwork
The watercolor “Stained glass window in my temple” tells the story of rebuilding an inner sanctuary from the fragments of the past. Scattered pieces — lines, patches of color, delicate “cracks” — come together into a harmonious composition, like a stained-glass window illuminated from within. Nothing is concealed; every fracture becomes a contour of new form, every shard a vital part of a greater whole.
At the center stands a maple leaf, uniting… the surrounding elements and symbolizing renewal, maturity, and conscious choice. Flowers blooming within the mosaic speak of rebirth and the quiet strength of life. The temple becomes a metaphor for the inner world that can be rebuilt — shaping its light, color, and rhythm anew. From what was broken, wholeness emerges when light begins to pass through it.
