Watercolor “Illusions Inspired by Foam” explores a subtle state of perception in which reality loses its certainty and becomes a space for imagination. The sea foam here is not merely the trace of a retreating wave, but a living substance from which fleeting images and suggestions emerge. These forms are never fixed; they shift and transform, shaped by the viewer’s gaze and inner mood.
The illusions born within the foam do not impose a single narrative.… For some, they echo the breath and movement of the sea; for others, they become reflections of light, symbols, or almost-recognizable figures. The painting offers not an answer, but a process of attentive looking—where imagination completes what is seen and creates a personal version of reality. In this openness to multiple interpretations lies its poetry: fragile, changeable, and endlessly inspiring, like the foam itself.
