About this artwork
This experimental project aims to capture a moment of intimate personal reflection, a moment in which one questions oneself and inevitably evolves.
This work has two components, abstract and figurative: pure emotion and reflection.
The predominant hue, Prussian Blue, evokes solitude and introspection, while the central figure, seen from behind, invites reflection on one's inner world. Finally, the touches of gold pigment that shine brightly, contrasting… with the deep blue hue, symbolize emotional evolution.

Elena Romanini, graduated in archaeology, is a painter who creates works on paper, canvas and wood with oil, ink, acrylics, watercolors and graphite. Through a dialogue between figurative and abstract, Romanini employs a variable approach, favoring acrylic for instinctive abstract painting and oil for reflective figurative painting, frequently enriching his works with material elements and gold and silver pigments.
