I stopped
After many days spent listening to myself I took up the canvas and colors without a plan or an idea in mind,
I knew if I didn't do it I would get lost so I followed my instincts…
At first I added color, a lot of color
then I realized I needed to remove
to find myself again.
In this work, I wanted to capture the fragile essence of a suspended moment, playing with shades of gray and blue to evoke deep and intimate emotions.… The fluid lines and abstract shapes create an atmosphere of tormented reflection. It's an invitation to lose and rediscover yourself within.
The painting was featured in the virtual exhibition "Future," July 25-August 25, 2022, curated by Beatrice Cordaro and Alessia Perone.
