About this artwork
In this work, I have expressed the inner babbling, those chaotic and nascent emotions that are searching for their way. The depth of the blue evokes temporary calm, while the yellow and turquoise brilliance burst forth like ideas and feelings that emerge with force. It will bring a vibrant energy to your space, an invitation to listen and feel what is bubbling within each of us.
Following my intuition and emotions becomes the guiding principle when… creating the lyrical abstract artworks in the Vibrations series and even more so in the Effusion series.
Creating in the moment, with the inspiration of the moment, I put reflection on hold and thoughts are deposited on the canvas. The search for balance, for movement becomes fluid, almost natural.
Accustomed to graphic performances on stage during events, I break out of the straitjacket and the imposed framework and free myself to allow the birth of this work.

Eric Delahaye, a visual artist who works primarily with paint, first gained recognition as a performance painter.
