About this artwork
Let yourself be carried away by your feelings of the moment and dive into the twists and turns of your emotions. Without any restraint, intuition leads me to place stains and projections on the canvas, to slide the knife and express myself directly by painting with tubes. A deep need to invite you to an introspective journey. This work represents my emotions of the moment, but I hope it allows you in turn to explore your impressions, to take the… time for this inner journey to externalize, become aware and break down barriers.
It is also a beautiful invitation to travel through your thoughts in a lighter and more superficial way.
Eric Delahaye, a visual artist who works primarily with paint, first gained recognition as a performance painter. Employing a palette knife, he has perfected his unique style, blending abstraction, semi-abstraction, and conceptual art. Through his "Vibrations" and "Effusion" series, he expresses his inner contrasts: masculine and feminine, shadow and light, joy and sorrow. His works evoke a profound sense of freedom, presenting a universe filled with emotion and reflection. Today, Eric is forging his own path in contemporary abstraction. His works are as much mirrors of emotions as they are bursts of life.
