About this artwork
In the painting "Celestial Circles" I have symbolically represented the cells of every human being by painting the circles.
They are all the same, yet not the same. They differ in their uniqueness.
Upon closer inspection, they become visible and tangible.
Every year a new circle, a new cell, a change, a growth, a joy inherent in itself.
I made the stars out of wood and placed them between the circles.
They represent the connection to our lives… originating from heaven.
While I was creating the image on the canvas, I wrote the following poem to accompany it.
Celestial circles
Where the stars shine
Where life revolves around her
Visible in points
They are never lost.
The celestial circles
so organically beautiful they sound
Each one contains a melody.
Heaven on Earth
lets us shine
with the stars.
