About this artwork
I examine the decay of a dictator's image. I use a striking green and cream suit to ground the figure in history, but I "glitch" the head with pink and lavender balloons that seem to be drifting or breaking apart. This fragmentation ironizes the absolute control once held by the subject, reducing a figure of terror to a collapsing, plastic-like maze—my study of how irony inevitably deconstructs even the most rigid human ideologies.
