About this artwork
The moon glows in dark (painted with phosphorescent fosfo paint). The painting is inspired by [The Little Mermaid] Ariel.
The dimension in the artist's work means the ideal spiritual world. The mysterious and pure space already exists in our heads, and happiness is already within us. The image of these thoughts is abundantly spread over the girl's head. The girls, embracing beautiful nature, are self-portraits that reflect the artist's self, but… each has a different face. They have a mysterious, exotic, or at the same time oriental appearance, and take the form of a girl with a round face red cheeks and small lips. Through the facial expressions, postures, and eyes of the characters, the emotions of the artist are expressed. Through the characters in the work, the message conveys the message that the dreamed ideal world and happiness do not exist far away but are already abundantly spread in my mental world and are waiting for self-awareness.
« "The world we live in is not always beautiful. But we may all possess the dream of being beautiful, still and peaceful. My works reflect what I want to see and feel." »
