About this artwork
In this work, I have captured raw energy and deep emotions through vibrant red and cool gray. The combination of sand and acrylic creates a captivating texture that reflects the impermanence of life. Each brushstroke speaks of inner tension and the ceaseless flow of time—an expression of my existential exploration of moments between chaos and tranquility.
Eva Demuth works as a painter and illustrator, her style shaped by her early training in her family's woodcarving business, an apprenticeship as a church painter, and studies in graphic design. She combines classical drawing and oil painting with illustration and calligraphy, working sometimes representationally, sometimes with free interpretation. Her works draw inspiration from the moment and from inner and outer impulses, inviting viewers to pause, discover their own feelings, and find their own personal interpretation.
