About this artwork
Using Indian ink and colored pencils, I have brought to life a figure that hovers between the present and the future. The flowing lines and colors reflect inner chaos and hope. This image brings a dynamic, almost mystical energy to any room and invites you to dream and pause. It is my invitation to feel the power of change.
Eva Demuth works as a painter and illustrator, her style shaped by her early training in her family's woodcarving business, an apprenticeship as a church painter, and studies in graphic design. She combines classical drawing and oil painting with illustration and calligraphy, working sometimes representationally, sometimes with free interpretation. Her works draw inspiration from the moment and from inner and outer impulses, inviting viewers to pause, discover their own feelings, and find their own personal interpretation.
