About this artwork
This work is a linocut print in an edition of 5. It depicts my dog Filou, an Australian Shepherd. His sometimes very long fur provides a texture that I found very appealing for a graphic representation using relief printing.
The unique characteristic of linocut printing is that no two prints from the same printing plate will ever be exactly the same. Therefore, each print is unique.
