About this artwork
Sip your Rainbow
Should we still dream? I say definitely. More than ever we need our colorful and carefree dreams. Just be yourself and follow your path. Is it colorful and unique? All the better. This work of art is a combination of photography, Polaroids, embroidery and colors. This type of transmedia art combines my love for textile techniques and photography.
I was inspired by the motto “free yourself” of the disco era, where you could discover… your true self on the dance floor.
The work comes with a frame and can be hung on the wall or displayed.
Eva Silberknoll, a graduate of the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, works with photography, textile techniques and fragrances. By combining these media elements, she creates mixed media that connect seemingly incompatible fields. Her works tell stories of individual journeys and the challenges of deviating from the norm, viewing fashion as a means of self-discovery. With a strong sense of personal freedom, Silberknoll's works exude an inspiring message: be yourself.
